Homeaway: We're Growing So Fast In Austin, We Can't Keep Up

Austin-based vacation rental marketplace operator HomeAway said Tuesday afternoon that it is growing so fast in Austin, it can't keep up with building office space for its new employees. HomeAway--which opened up a new, 20,000-square foot office in Austin on Tuesday at the D3 building at The Domain--said it now has over 3,000 employees, with well over half of those in Austin--and another 60 job openings in Austin. HomeAway now has three offices spread across Austin; the latest at D3 will be home to several of its product and development teams. HomeAway said, in particular, it is currently looking to hire engineers, data scientists and designers in Austin.
