H-E-B Plans New Tech Facility, Innovation Lab In Austin

Grocery store chain H-E-B is planning to boost its technology efforts in Austin, with a new facility and "innovation lab" for its team in the city. According to H-E-B, the new facility will include both its H-E-B Digital team and Austin-based subsidiary Favor. H-E-B said the new location, at 2416 East Sixth Street is a two-story, 81,000 square-foot renovated industrial warehouse, which it says it is turning into a "creative and collaborative" workspace. The new facility is expected to be complete in Spring of 2019.
