In A Bid To Boost Diversity, Vista Equity Launches Intern Program

Austin-based private equity investor Vista Equity Partners is hoping to increase the diversity in finance, the firm said on Monday, with a new effort called the Vista Frontier Fellows Program. According to Vista Equity, it is looking to build a pipeline of highly-qualified women and diverse candidates from colleges and universities around the United States, offering them summer internships and a possibility of an offer of employment at the end of its program. Vista Equity specifically said it will look for candidates with underrepresented background in finance and tech, including women, African Americans and members of the Latinx community. Vista Equity said its Frontier Fellows Program will begin accepting applicants after February 1, 2019.
