Sante Ventures Raises $250M Healthcare Fund

Austin-based healthcare and life sciences investment firm Sante Ventures said this morning that it has raised a new fund, $250M in a third healthcare and life sciences fund, Sante Ventures Fund III. According to Sante VEntures, the fund exceeded its fundraising targets by 25 percent. The company said the funds came from over 30 limited partners (LPs) including the Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS). Sante Ventures said its other institutional limited partners included sovereign wealth funds, investors from Europe and Asia, and several new healthcare delivery systems.
