Tex-Link Communications Acquired By California Firm

Pac-West Telecomm Inc., a wholesale provider of advanced telecommunications services, announced today that it has acquired Tex-Link Communications Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. By acquiring Tex-Link—a voice and data services provider throughout the Lone Star State—Pac-West said it gains a foothold in the "Big 4" Texas markets of Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin. Pac-West already serves wholesale customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, New York and Michigan. Tex-Link will operate as a wholly owned Pac-West subsidiary, Pac-West noted. Pac-West is headquartered in Oakland, Calif.
