Learfield Buys GoVision

Plano-based Learfield, which provides a range of broadcasting and others services for the sports and agricultural markets, said it has acquired Argyle, Texas-based GoVision, a provider of LED displays for the sports, concert, and racing event markets. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. GoVision helps install and develop those giant, jumbo displays you see in stadiums and other venues. Learfield is led by President and CEO Greg Brown, and GoVision was founded and is led by Chris Curtis. GoVision was founded in 2002.
