LifeSize Gets Hotel Win

Austin, Texas-based video conferencing product firm LifeSize announced today that Guest-Tek, a provider of IP-based technology for the hospitality industry, will provide its video conferencing products to its hotel clients. Guest-Tek is installing LifeSize video communications products, starting with an installation at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, California. Size of the deal was not disclosed. LifeSize provides high definition video communications products for video conferencing, using high resolution video quality. LifeSize is backed by Austin Ventures, Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, Northwest Venture Associates, Norwest Venture Partners, Pinnacle Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Sutter Hill Ventures.
