LifeSize Rolls New System
Austin-based LifeSize, the high definition videoconferencing equipment maker now owned by Logitech, said today that it has launched a new, sub-$1,000 HD video conferencing product. The firm's new product, the Passport Connect, is aimed at the SMB market, and works with SIP-based IP PBX systems. The firm said the product is the first to combine technology from both LifeSize and Logitech. LifeSize is headed by Craig Malloy, who serves both as CEO of the firm and a SVP at Logitech.
