MetroPCS Appoints Keys As COO, President
Wireless communications service provider MetroPCS Communications Inc. reported Wednesday that it has promoted Thomas Keys to chief operating officer and the newly created position of president. MetroPCS explained that the move resulted from CEO and board Chairman Roger Linquist’s decision to reduce his work schedule. MetroPCS said J. Braxton Carter, senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Mark A. Stachiw, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, will continue to report to Linquist. All other executive officers, the company said, will report to Keys, except John Olsen, vice president and chief information officer, who will report to Carter. MetroPCS Communications is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
