Emerson Nabs Decision Management International

Manufacturing process consultant Emerson revealed Tuesday that it has purchased Decision Management International Inc. of Bradenton, Fla. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Emerson said it will integrate DMI into its Emerson Process Management business in Austin, which focuses on helping many industries automate their production, processing and distribution practices. Emerson said its acquisition of DMI includes all DMI technologies, applications, services and employees. The two firms have been working together since 2002, Emerson added. Emerson is headquartered in St. Louis. Its Process Management business is based in Austin, Texas.
