Houston Software Developer Paradigm Acquired By Emerson

Houston-based Paradigm, a software developer for the oil and gas industry, has been acquired by industrial giant Emerson, Emerson said this morning. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Paradigm has more than 500 employees, and provides seismic processing, oil reservoir modeling, drilling, and other software to the upstream oil and gas industry. Emerson is combining Paradigm with its own Roxar software business, which also serves the exploration and production industry.
