Taqua, BroadSoft Partner On VoIP

Richardson, Texas-based Taqua and BroadSoft, a provider of VoIP application software, said Monday that the two have partnered on a deal to provide replacement Class 5 telecommunications switches to service providers. Taqua will bundle and resell BroadSoft's VoIP application platform, which is used for managing Voice-over-IP services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Taqua is a provider of Class 5 telecommunications switches.
