Mirage Enhances Security Appliance
Austin, Texas-based Mirage Networks said earlier this week that it has released a new version of the company's Mirage Endpoint Control product. Mirage said that the upgraded product now scales up to 100 appliances in an enterprise deployment, and also is easier to deploy and manage. Mirage is a developer of network access control (NAC) appliances used to control the access of PC and other devices onto enterprise networks; the appliances are used for enterprise security. Mirage is venture backed by Adams Capital Management, CenterPoint Ventures, Rembrandt Venture Partners, StarTech Early Ventures and Trinity Ventures.
