Mirage Networks Eyes Two More Patents
Austin-based Mirage Networks, a developer of network access control (NAC) security software, said today that it is on the way to scoring two more patents for the firm. According to Mirage, it has received Notices of Allowance for its fourth and fifth U.S. patents, the first step in issuing a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. No details on the specific patents were disclosed. Mirage said it also has four other patents pending. Mirage develops security products that use network access control to determine which computers and other hardware can connect to a computer network.
