Mirage Signs Missouri University
Mirage Networks, an Austin-based manufacturer of security devices that limit and secure access to computer networks, revealed this morning that a Missouri liberal arts university has chosen to safeguard its residential network with a Mirage solution. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Mirage identified its new client as William Woods University of Fulton, a small town in central Missouri. According to Mirage, the university first gave a competing solution from Cisco Systems a two-year run before adopting Mirage's network access control device. Mirage added that William Woods plans to expand the NAC deployment to its faculty and staff networks next year.
