InovaWave Becomes Hyper9

Austin-based InovaWave, a developer of software for the virtualization market, said Monday morning that the firm has renamed itself Hyper9. The company also named Ben Rouse as Chief Product Officer of the firm. Inovawave said that the new name will "better align and communicate the company's products and business." Rouse previously served as CEO of United Devices, and also joins the firm's board. Hyper9 is venture backed by Matrix Partners and Silverton Partners.
