Staktek Switches Corporate Name to Entorian

Memory module manufacturer Staktek Holdings Inc. announced Wednesday that it has changed its corporate name to Entorian Technologies Inc. The Austin, Texas-based business said the name change reflects its wish to move beyond chip-stacking solutions and become a leading provider of enterprise-class subsystem technologies for high-speed, high-capacity systems and to expand its consumer technologies footprint. As part of its name change, Entorian said it has launched a new Web site and changed the firm's NASDAQ stock symbol, which changed from STAK to ENTN, effective Thursday morning.
