Perot Systems to Buy German IT Services Provider

Information technology consulting firm Perot Systems Corp. announced Thursday that it has agreed to acquire HighQ-IT GmbH, a German IT services provider specializing in SAP solutions. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close later this quarter. Terms were not disclosed. Perot Systems said the Munich-based company is one of nine special expertise partners in the automotive industry to be globally certified in SAP. Founded in 1989, HighQ-IT also maintains a delivery center in Bratislava, Slovakia. Perot Systems added that HighQ-IT's reported revenues in 2007 were some $23.8 million. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Perot Systems employs some 23,000 people across the globe.
