Perot Systems Nabs Ireland-Based Original Solutions

IT consulting firm Perot Systems Corp. announced Monday that it has purchased Original Solutions Ltd., an Ireland-based professional IT services company that provides applications development and management services to clients in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Headquartered in Limerick and Dublin, Original Solutions employs some 90 people and reported revenues of nearly $14 million in 2007. The firm's key clients include Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland, Eircom and O2. Perot Systems said Original Solutions' founder, John Collins, will remain in charge of the company. Perot Systems is headquartered in Plano, Texas.
