Alereon Hires Sales VP

Austin-based Alereon has hired on a new Vice President of Worldwide Sales, the firm disclosed this morning. Alereon said it has hired Scott Deutsch to the new position, to manage the firm's sales relationships with strategic customers worldwide. Deutsch joins from SanDisk OEM Consumer Product Division, where he was VP of Sales and marketing. Deutsch has also served at MMC Networks and Cypress Semiconductor. Alereon is a venture-backed developer of wireless USB semiconductors. More information »
