Freescale Semiconductor Exec Grimme Resigns

Embedded computer chip manufacturer Freescale Semiconductor reported Monday that Paul Grimme, senior vice president and general manager of the company’'s Microcontroller Solutions group, will resign in September. Freescale said Grimme has served in several capacities for the Austin, Texas-based company since coming aboard in 1981. Previous roles include product engineering, marketing and operations management. Freescale said it will launch an internal and external search to surface a successor.
