Slacker: No More Austin Presence
Slacker, the online personal radio startup which is backed by Sevin Rosen, Austin Ventures, Centennial Ventures and Mission Ventures, has consolidated its offices into San Diego, and no longer has operations in Austin, a spokesperson for the firm confirmed Wednesday. No word on when the consolidation actually occurred. Slacker had launched with much fanfare in 2007 at SXSW, and had maintained engineering and operations in Austin.
