Travelocity Debuts Site for Latin American Consumers
Online travel-booking Web site Travelocity reported Monday that it has launched a Spanish-language site targeting travelers in Latin America. Travelocity said the new site will focuses on consumers in Chile, Colombia and Peru, and currently offers listings for more than 70,000 hotels worldwide. The site also allows users to book international flights and car rentals, Travelocity said. The Latin American page continues Travelocity's trend of Spanish language-themed sites—the company debuted a site for Mexican consumers last year and a site for Argentines in April. A subsidiary of Sabre Holdings Corp., Travelocity is headquartered in Southlake, Texas.
