MPV Gets Customer Wins

Austin-based Medical Present Value, a publisher of hosted payer management software for the health care industry, revealed several customer wins Tuesday. The financial impact of the new accounts was not disclosed. According to MPV, its newest clients represent more than 1,200 providers and include University Physicians Healthcare of Tuscson, Ariz.; the CHW Medical Foundation of Sacramento, Calif.; and the University of Illinois-Chicago. MPV said the new partners will utilize its Contract Management application, which helps medical groups audit reimbursements based on up-to-date payment rules and payer adjudication logic. Additionally, MPV explained, Contract Management allows groups to claim payments at the line-item level and establish patients' copayments prior to service.
