Performix Ships New UI

Houston-based Performix, which develops software used for managing manufacturing in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, said today that the firm has shipped a new user interface product aimed at plant floor operators. The firm said its Performix xMES Next Generation User Interface is being used by such manufacturers as Dow Corning. The UI provides views into manufacturing plant floor operation to operators, and is venture backed by DFJ Mercury and RPM Ventures.
