LifeSize Ramps Government Efforts

Austin-based LifeSize, a maker of high definition, video conferencing equipment, is ramping up its government sales efforts, saying Monday afternoon that it has been awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) contract, a key way to sell equipment to the Federal Government. LifeSize said the move, in conjunction with support for the governments FIPS 140-2 security requirements, will allow it to business directly with the Federal Government.
