Powell Industries Buys PowerComm

Houston-based Powell Industries, a manufacturer of industrial equipment and systems for controlling electrical energy, said last night that it has acquired PowerComm, a provider of electrical and instrumentation construction and maintenance services for the oil and gas industry. The deal was worth $24.2M in cash plus up to $7.6M in earn out.
