ShopSavvy Looks For Beta Users, Waits for iPhone Approval
ShopSavvy, the mobile shopping application being developed by Dallas-based Big In Japan, is looking for beta testers, according to Big In Japan's Alexander Muse. According to Muse, the firm has submitted ShopSavvy for the iPhone to Apple, and in the meantime is looking for users willing to report bugs and ideas to the firm. The company did not say how long it expected to take Apple to approve the app. ShopSavvy's mobile application allows users to scan barcodes and get comparative pricing from both Web and local retailers. The firm's application currently runs on Windows Mobile and Android phones.
