Dell Confirms Smart Phone, Gets Wins In China and Brazil

Round Rock-based Dell said this morning that it is entering the smart phone business, and has inked two deals with International operators to sell the device. Dell said its new Mini 3 smart phones will be distributed through Chinese telecom firm China Mobile and Brazilian carrier Claro. The firm did not announce more details on the product, which uses the Android mobile operating system. China Mobile has 500M subscribers, Claro has 42M.
