Interphase Links With Mindspeed On LTE Product

Plano-based Interphase, a developer of networking cards and related products, is working with semiconductor supplier Mindspeed on an a new wireless base station product. According to the firms, Interphase is using Mindspeed's baseband processors on its iSPAN 36701 Wireless base Station Advanced Mezzanine Card. The firms said that the card provides LTE capability in conjunction with software from Aricent. The new product is being targeted for use in 4G communications networks, either as an LTE eNodeB or WiMAX base station.
