TI Expands Analog Operations In Richardson
Dallas-based Texas Instruments said today that the firm is ramping up analog production at its Richardson, Texas 300mm analog wafer fab. According to TI, it has begun purchasing equipment to enable further growth at the facility, bringing the revenue capability at the site to about $2 billion. The firm said the expansion is part of a Phase II expansion of its Richardson site, and will double the analog manufacturing capacity at the site.
