Telligent Raises $2.3M

Dallas-based Telligent Systems, a developer of enterprise social networking software, has raised $2.3M in a funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm this week. According to the filing, the new equity funding round came from 19 investors. Telligent's software is used for powering online communities and for collaboration applications. The firm was founded in 2004 and is headed by Patrick Brant; Brant was previously CEO of Skywire Software, and Chairman and CEO of iWave Software. More information »
