Gowalla Redesigns Spot Pages

Austin-based Gowalla has redesigned its "Spot" pages, the firm said this week, in what it called a significant re-design. The firm said that the pages--which highlight locations users can check into via the social checkin site--now features updated activity feeds, photos, and other information. The updates include ability to add multiple "highlights" for users, the ability for users to name their favorite coffee spots, colleges, and other locations that are important to them. The feature previously only allowed a single highlight per category.
