Silicon Laboratories Shuffles CFO

Austin-based Silicon Laboratories said last night that it will be appointing Paul Walsh, currently Chief Accounting Officer and VP of Finance, as CFO when current CFO Bill Bock steps down. Silicon Laboratories said that Bock will be stepping down on July 3rd. As part of the move, the company said that Bock will re-join the firm's board when he resigns as CFO; he had previously been a director of the firm's board until 2006. Walsh has been at Silicon Laboratories since 2004, and has previously served as interim CFO of the firm until Bock was appointed to the position.
