Silicon Laboratories Swaps CEO
Austin-based Silicon Laboratories said today that it has swapped its CEO, with President and CEO Necip Sayiner stepping down on April 18th, to be replaced by Tyson Tuttle, the firm's current Chief Operating Officer. Reason for the swap was not announced. Tuttle has been at the firm for 15 years. Silicon Laboratories said that Sayiner "created a very strong foundation" to build the company, and is "uniquely qualified" to lead the firm into the next chapter. Silicon Laboratories is a developer of analog and mixed signal semiconductors.
