American Airlines Back On Expedia

Fort Worth-based American Airlines is again listing its fares on travel site Expedia, after the two reached an memorandum of understanding (MOU) over travel terms, the two said Monday afternoon. Without detailing the financials and terms of the MOU, the two said that Expedia has immediately begun providing access to fares and schedule information on American and American Eagle flights, on both Expedia and Hotwire. Expedia had dropped American in January, over a fight over the use of global distribution system (GDS) providers like Sabre. The two firms said that Expedia will access American's systems through a GDS provider in the renewed deal.
