BMC Buys Aeroprise

Houston-based BMC Sofware announced today that it has acquired a developer of IT management software, Aeroprise. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to BMC, Aeroprise is the provider of the most widely deployed mobility solution for its BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite. The Aeroprise product has been renamed BMC Mobility for IT Service Management. The product runs on iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android, and Windows Mobile devices.
