Taqua Buys Tatara Systems

Richardson-based Taqua, the developer of switching and other telecommunications equipment, said Thursday that it has acquired Tatara Systems, a developer of SIP-based, mobile telephony products. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Tatara Systems was based in Acton, Mass., and was founded in 2001.
