Tri-Global Technologies Launches Android Utility Mapping App

Tri-Global Technologies, which has offices in San Antonio, said this week that it has launched an Android app which will help companies map underground utilities. The firm--which is a developer of utility infrastructure mapping products--said its new Android app will allow field technicians to document utility mark-outs. The firm said its new UtiliDroid product will be released commercially late sometime this year, with pre-release versions available now. The new app is an expansion from the company's current Windows Mobile, desktop, and web tools for utility mapping. Tri-Global is headquartered in Athens, Georgia.
