Texas Memory Systems Ties With DataCore
Houston-based Texas Memory Systems, the developer of solid state storage deviecs, said this mornign that it has teamed up with storage softwaer firm DataCore, on a new line of bundled products. Texas Memory Systems said it has bundled its RamSan solid state disk appliance with DataCore's SANsymphony-V storage software, which provides virtual storage to VMware environments. Business details of the link were not disclosed. DataCore's storage virtualization software is used to allocate storage into virtual disks. Texas Memory Systems develops flash-based, solid state storage devices which are used by companies to accelerate access to their data.
