Texas Memory Systems Now Part Of IBM
Houston-based solid state disk drive manufacturer Texas Memory Systems is now officially part of IBM, IBM announced this morning. IBM said the deal completed today. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Texas Memory Systems was founded in 1978, and is a supplier of solid state memory-based storage devices. The deal had been originally announced on August 16th. TMS becomes part of IBM's Systems and Technology Group.
