eRecyclingCorps Buys Consumer Electronics Buyback Provider Flipswap

Irving-based eRecyclingCorps said Monday that it has acquired a provider of consumer electronics buyback programs, Flipswap. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. eRC said it has also acquired Flipswap's interest in Flipswap Services, LLC, and will continue to support Flipswap's existing customers and services. eRecyclingCorps, whic h is led by David Edmondson, provides wireless device trade-in programs for carriers and retailers. Flipswap had been venture backed by NGEN Partners and RRE Ventures.
