Gazzang Ties With Automated Deployment Tool Chef

Austin-based Gazzang, the developer of database security and encryption tools, is making it easier for its users to deploy its ZNcrypt product. The firm said this week that it has made a Chef cookbook to automate the deployment and configuration of its product. Chef is a widely used software tool used to make it easier to deploy servers into the cloud. Gazzang said the cookbook provides users a recipe to accelerate the provisioning, configuration, and integration of its data encryption and key management tools into big data environments.
