Dell Gets Nod On Quest Software Buy

Round Rock-based Dell has passed an antitrust review by the Federal Trade Commission, based on documents from the FTC, one step closer to closing the $2.4 billion buy of the IT management software maker by Dell. Dell said it would pay $28.00 per share in cash, or roughly $2.4 billion for Dlel in July, after an extended bidding war between Dell and Insight Venture Partners. Quest is a maker of IT management software.
