Retalix Buys Cornell Mayo Associates

Retalix, a provider of software and services to retailers which has its U.S. headquarters in Plano, said today that it has acquired Cornell Mayo Associates, a provider of store systems for department stores and large specialty retailers. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Retalix has its headquarters in Israel, but maintains its U.S. operations out of an office in Plano. Retalix said that Cornell Mayo's customers include Saks Fifth Avenue, Belk, Stage Stores and Barnes & Noble. Both firms develop point-of-sale (POS) equipment and software.
