Local Electronics Distributors Fund Scholarship At UT Arlington

Two, local electronic distributors --Dallas-based TTI Inc. and Fort Worth-based Mouser Electronics--announced today that they will fund a scholarship at the University of Texas at Arlington College of Engineering. According to the two companies, the scholarship will go towards helping students enrolled in the Arnold E. Petsche Center for Automotive Engineering. Size of the scholarship was not announced by the firms. Both TTI and Mouser are owned by Berkshire Hathaway. The companies said the scholarship is part of their efforts to encourage more young people to pursue careers in science and engineering.
