Lyft Launches In Dallas

Peer-to-peer ridesharing service Lyft is launching in Dallas today, with plans to bring its trademark "pink mustache" rides across the city--even as debate continues to swirl around the legality of those types of services in the city. Lyft lets people give other people a ride anywhere in town, requesting "donations" for those rides. Lyft's service is driven by smartphone applications where users can request a ride from their location.
