2pointb Launches On-Demand Ride App In Dallas

Is there room in the market for yet another, mobile, on-demand ridesharing service? Startup 2pointb thinks so, saying last week that it is launching its on-demand, ride and transportation service in Dallas. The startup says it is working with established, local transportation companies for its app, which it says offers a "safer, more trustworthy" service for users. The company is competing against a formidable set of competitors, including such companies as Uber and Lyft. The company did not say why it selected Dallas as its launch market.
