Servergy Joins Industry Group

Dallas-based Servergy, which is developing high performance, highly efficient Linux servers aimed at the data center market, said it has linked up with an industry group focused on IBM's Power microprocessors. Servergy said it joined the OpenPOWER Foundation, which makes IBM's Power microprocessor architecture available under license. The OpenPOWER Foundation's major members are IBM, Google, Mellanox, NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, Tyan and Suzhou PowerCore Technology Company.
