Dallas-based Servergy announced this morning that it has raised $20M in a funding round, for the company's power-optimized, Linux servers. The company said the funding came from accredited investors via an offering from The Williams Financial Group. Servergy said the funding will go towards infrastructure and personnel to drive sales of its power-optimized, Linux servers. Servergy said its first product is the CTS-1000, a Linux server it says delivers more performance-per-watt than current server, saving users in terms of energy, cooling, space, weight, water, and carbon by up to 80 percent or more.
